Website Design & Content

Deaconess Long Term Care approached me to update the websites for two of their nursing locations. I worked with this client several years ago for a completely new custom design and wrote the content for Cottingham Retirement Community,  a CCRC location. That sites’ design was used as the template to transform Continental Manor and Mason Health Care Center’s websites. The template stayed the same but all images were updated to appropriately go with their nursing services and fresh new content was written. Prior to this transformation, they were listed under Deaconess’ corporate site with just a few paragraphs of content. Now visitors are welcomed with a modern, visually appealing website and bite-size content that is just enough to share their services and amenities.

An on-site visit was scheduled with the executive director and key personnel to gather important facts about what they do and what key points can be used as unique selling propositions. The content was developed with a flair for the personalities of staff which is important to not over-write content or worse have the typical stale verbiage you read on every other similar business. The Contact Us form feeds into an email marketing list for more opportunities to touch these prospects.

I also styled a private room and did a photoshoot to produce a warm,  welcoming room that doesn’t scream nursing home.
