Client: Cottingham Retirement Community, Cincinnati, OH
Designed this custom responsive website for Deaconess Long Term Care, non-profit Continuum of Care Retirement Community (CCRC) completed October 2014. Working closely with the Executive Director and Marketing Manager we collaborated on the design and developed all new content. The client was looking for a clean, easy to navigate site that offered a lot more information as well as updating a look that was more modern. Added features included incorporating expand-in graphics and a fun video to grab attention on the home page. Engagement tools were developed that included a survey form and the ability to RSVP for events.
All content was re-written by Chatterbox to offer more complete information as well as SEO optimization. Chatterbox envisioned a strategy around a fun theme using a bicycle metaphor to describe the stages of aging and life changes along with care-free images of senior adults enjoying a bicycle ride. Seniors relate to this theme and associate it with a happy thought, bringing that feeling and connection into their message.
