WEBSITE DESIGN/CONTENT

Client: Dayton Mailing Services (DMS)

While working at DMS in 2012, their website crashed and Kim Boyd had to write all new content and design a website from the ground up within a matter of a few weeks.  The branding strategy was to have a new look that was bright and appealing and didn’t use typical designs of print shops.  The home page was designed to contain everything you would want to know and have very easy navigation to multiple disciplines that DMS offered.  The navigation was designed to carry that throughout every page to easily find all their key disciplines rather than searching through drop down menus.

Kim wrote all the content and executed the new site within 8 weeks (and a lot of late, late nights).  Keywords that represented this business were highlighted multiple times strategically placed, along with industry terminology was written to enhance organic search.  Within one day of the site going live, immediate requests for quotes started steadily coming in from businesses around the country and a few out of the country as well. Without any SEO, people were finding the site and organic search results were on the first page, top three to five positions.
